Calculation errors, tool suggestions, and advertising enquiries all go to the same address.
Replies usually take a few days. This site is run by one person, so an instant response isn't always possible.
1. A result looks wrong
This is the most common message we get, and the most useful one. But nothing can be fixed that can't be reproduced, so please include these five things:
(1) The page URL (e.g. https://utils.im/bmi) — the same calculator has a different URL per language.
(2) The interface language and the currency you had selected.
(3) Every value you entered. A partial set often reproduces under a different combination and sends us after the wrong cause.
(4) The result you actually got.
(5) The result you expected, and why — a statute, an official document, a link, or a discrepancy against another calculator.
Once reproduced we fix the code or the copy, and if the methodology itself changed we update the review date in that tool's "Method and sources" block at the same time. If it doesn't reproduce, we'll say so and show you what we got.
2. A rate or threshold is out of date
Tax rates, deduction caps, and similar annual figures are tracked as maintenance items, but there is a lag right after an amendment lands. Sending the source link for the new figure — the official gazette, the ministry notice, the regulator's bulletin — is the fastest way to get it corrected.
3. A translation reads badly
The interface ships in ten languages and not all of them have been reviewed by a native speaker. If wording is awkward or plainly wrong, send the page URL, the language, the current text, and your suggested wording. Mistranslated domain terms — financial, medical, religious, legal — are prioritised.
4. Suggesting a new tool
Very welcome. Two details make it easy to judge: when you actually needed that calculation, and what you use instead today (a spreadsheet, another site, pen and paper).
The bar is whether the answer fits on one screen (see About, section 1). Anything that needs a multi-step flow or an account to make sense doesn't get built.
5. Advertising, partnerships, and reuse
Advertising enquiries, embedding a tool, and questions about how far you may quote the content all go to the same address. The general terms for linking and quoting are in the Terms of Service.
6. Privacy questions
What is collected, which cookies are set, and how to opt out are covered in the privacy policy. If that document doesn't answer your question, write to the same address.
