Is it free? Will it become paid later?

Every tool is free. There is no paid tier, no daily usage cap, and no screen that asks for payment before showing a result. Advertising covers the running costs.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no login. Because there are no accounts at all, nothing ever asks for your email address or phone number.

Does what I type — or the files I open — get sent to a server?

Mostly no. Calculators, converters, timers, and file tools run inside your browser. Splitting a PDF, compressing an image, or converting a HEIC file does not upload anything; the browser does the work itself.

The exceptions are tools that need outside data: exchange rates, public holidays by country, the IP lookup, and the gold and silver prices used by the zakat calculator. Prayer times, Qibla, and Ramadan use your device location if you allow it, and the calculation still runs in the browser. Does it work offline?

A tool you have already visited will usually open offline — a service worker keeps the page cached. The tools that depend on outside data (rates, holidays, IP, metal prices) can't fetch fresh values without a connection.

Using "Install app" or "Add to Home Screen" in your browser menu installs an individual tool as its own standalone app.

Can I rely on the results?

Treat them as reference estimates. They are not tax, legal, medical, or investment advice, and they don't replace an official determination or a diagnosis.

That matters most where a statute is involved (tax, payroll, severance): the real figure depends on individual circumstances. Confirm with the responsible authority or a qualified professional before you file, sign, seek treatment, or invest.

Where a tool carries a "Method and sources" block at the bottom, that block states the formula, a worked example, the limits, the effective date, and the date it was last reviewed. What that block can answer is exactly what the tool stands behind.

My number differs from another site's

Usually because the calculation has more than one accepted basis. Basal metabolic rate has several competing formulas; halal stock screening gives different verdicts under AAOIFI, Dow Jones, and MSCI thresholds. We show which basis produced your number, so compare that against the other site's.

If the basis is the same and the numbers still differ, it may be a bug. Send the page URL, language, your inputs, the result you got, and the one you expected to thesockerrr@gmail.com and we'll reproduce it.

A tax rate or threshold looks out of date

Annual figures are tracked as maintenance items, but there is a lag right after an amendment. Sending the source link for the new figure — official gazette, ministry notice, regulator bulletin — to thesockerrr@gmail.com is the fastest route to a fix.

Can I set language and currency separately?

Yes. Interface language and display currency are independent axes, so you can read in English and still see amounts in Korean won. Both are in the top bar. Changing the language also changes the URL (Korean has no prefix; every other language is prefixed, e.g. /en/…).

A few tools implement Korean law or Korean-only schemes and are published only in the Korean interface.

Do ads influence the results?

No. Ad slots sit in fixed positions outside the tool interface. They have no bearing on which tools appear higher on the home page or on what any calculator returns.

May I quote the explanations or the results?

Yes, if you attribute the source and link to the original page. Reproducing the body text wholesale to build a separate site, or redistributing it without attribution, is not allowed. The full conditions are in section 5 of the Terms of Service.
