In roulette the payouts cancel the odds almost exactly. This trainer lets you bet anything from a single number to red, and shows that the expected loss stays at 2.70% of what you stake no matter what you pick.

How to use

  1. Choose a chip value and tap numbers, dozens, columns or even-money boxes to place it.
  2. Press Spin — the wheel turns in the real European pocket order and the pointer marks the result.
  3. Compare the session panel's theoretical loss (staked × 2.70%) with what actually happened.

The wheel is drawn in true wheel order (0, 32, 15, 19 …), not table order. Neighbours on the wheel are not neighbours on the layout, and that is the point.

With 37 pockets a fair payout would be 36:1. The casino pays 35:1 and keeps that one-unit gap — that gap is the whole −2.70%.

Is red or black safer than a number?

The variance is far smaller but the expected value is identical. Even-money bets win often for little; straights win rarely for a lot. The average rate of loss matches.

Do systems like the martingale work?

No. Spins are independent, so reordering bets leaves −2.70% per spin untouched. What does change is the stake, which grows exponentially until a table limit or your balance stops it.

How is the American wheel different?

It adds a 00 for 38 pockets and a −5.26% edge, nearly double. This trainer sticks to the friendlier European wheel.
