Terms of Service

Using utils.im (the "Site") means you accept the terms below. If you don't accept them, please don't use the Site.
1. What the service is
The Site is a collection of free calculation and conversion tools that run in your browser. There is no sign-up, no login, no payment, and no facility for you to upload and store content.
Most tools process your input in the browser without sending it to a server. The tools that do call external services are listed in section 4 of the privacy policy.
2. Results are reference estimates (disclaimer)
Every result on the Site is a reference estimate. It is not tax, legal, medical, investment, or safety advice, and it does not substitute for an official determination, a diagnosis, a valuation, or a formal assessment.
This matters most for: anything governed by statute (tax, deductions, payroll, severance), financial calculations (loan repayment, interest, returns), and health calculations (BMI, basal metabolic rate, ovulation, due dates). Before you file, sign, seek treatment, or invest, confirm the figure with the responsible authority or a qualified professional.
Rates, thresholds, and statutory bases change, and the Site may lag right after an amendment. Where a tool carries a "Method and sources" block, check the effective date and last-reviewed date shown there.
The Site makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any result, and to the fullest extent permitted by law accepts no liability for loss arising from reliance on one.
3. Availability
The Site is provided "as is". Uninterrupted access is not guaranteed, no individual tool is guaranteed to remain available, and tools may be added, changed, or removed without notice.
Tools that depend on external APIs — exchange rates, public holidays, metal prices — may stop working if those services go down or respond slowly. That is outside the Site's control.
4. Your obligations
Please don't hammer the Site with automated requests (scraping, load generation), circumvent security measures, or otherwise interfere with its operation.
Please don't present results from the Site to third parties as an "official calculation" or as "expert-reviewed" material. Neither claim is true (see About, section 4).
5. Copyright and quotation
The code, interface design, explanatory copy, and FAQ text on the Site are the operator's work.
Quoting the explanatory copy is permitted provided you attribute it and link to the original page. Search engines, answer engines, and AI services may quote the body text on the same terms — robots.txt is deliberately open to them.
Not permitted: reproducing the body text wholesale to build a separate site, redistributing it without attribution, or wrapping the Site's tools and presenting them as your own service.
Formulas, statutes, and published standards themselves are not copyrightable and anyone may use them. What is protected is the writing that explains them and the interface that implements them.
6. External links and advertising
The Site includes links to external documents and third-party advertising. The Site is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or data handling of linked sites or advertisers.
Ads occupy fixed positions outside the tool interface and do not affect any calculated result or the order in which tools are listed.
7. Changes to these terms
These terms may change. A revised version applies from the moment it is published on this page. Check the effective date above to see which version you are reading.
8. Governing law
These terms and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute will be heard by the court having jurisdiction under those laws.
