Set your work and rest times, rounds and sets, and the total time and work ratio appear before you start. Press start and the timer signals every change of segment with a 3-2-1 countdown. The screen turns red for work and blue for rest so you can read it out of the corner of your eye, and the dots below track the rounds you have left.
This timer does not add a rest after the final round, so a standard Tabata (20/10 × 8) finishes at 3:50 rather than 4:00. Ending on work feels more natural and it keeps the displayed total honest.
Because the 10-second rest after the eighth work interval is left out — the session should not end on a rest. If you want a round 4:00, set the cool-down to 10 seconds.
Set rest to 0, work to 60 seconds and pick your number of rounds. The 'EMOM 60s × 10' quick setup does exactly that.
On browsers that support it, the timer holds a screen wake lock while running. On devices without it, keep the screen on.
Browsers only allow audio after a user gesture. Press start once and cues will play from then on. Also check your device's silent switch and volume.
